Editorial policy

Useful, sourced and transparent.

Vantage Subsea publishes public-source marine and offshore energy context for readers who need clear explanations, useful links and careful separation between verified facts and interpretation.

Source standard

Project, policy, training and market claims should link to public sources where practical. Interpretation must be separated from verified fact. We name our sources so readers can verify claims independently.

Supplier standard

Directory entries can start as public-source candidates, but they stay labelled as verification pending until checked. Paid promotion must be visibly marked. We do not accept payment for editorial content.

Security standard

Maritime security content should explain resilience, risk and governance from public sources only. We avoid tactical details, alarmism and unverified incident claims. Security coverage serves readers, not headlines.

Privacy standard

We collect the minimum data needed for enquiries, newsletter interest and supplier listing requests. We do not forward enquiries without clear consent or legitimate follow-up basis. Newsletter data is never sold or shared with third parties.

Corrections and updates

When we get something wrong, we correct it promptly and note the update. If you spot an error or have additional context that would improve an article, contact us through the form on the resources page. We value accuracy over speed.
